Hello HR experts,
Very Good morning.
I am now working in a small consultancy for past 20 days. I am very new to this industry. I am dealing with 4 clients individually. This a new learning for me and i am somewhat scared also. Because as this a small and growing one i feel each client is treasure for us and i dont want to loose them .
Now i am facing a new challenge. Now i am dealing with new clients and this a Big company. I have lined up the candidates. But suddenly my boss is asking me to drop the client as they are not good pay masters.
They have not intimated the client . But the client is asking about the progress. (This is mainly happeneing because the People here are lacking professionalism) But i dont want to be like that.
HOW I SHOULD REACT. PLEASE GUIDE ME
Thanks,
Gayathiri

Explain the situation to the Client(If you are friendly with the Client)..
Ask him to discuss the issue with the MD without mentioning the Money Part,,,,,
Let the MD decide after that,,

Yah i will agree with what the suggestion given by peerji
Though they are good client if they wont pay the amount then it’s a waste of time and loss for the consultants to work for such a client.
Because it happens , I will explain my own experience : when I was working in a consulantancy we are working for a X client it’s a good company ………..We have sent many candiatates for interview ……but at end of the day they use say that no body as selected.
After few couple of days they directly contacted the candiatates and called up for the second round. So there we lost our candiatate and we wasted time . But our luck was there as that candiatate called us and told that he has called up for second round……….so this may happen
Even I had a good relationship with our client.
So its better to transfer this issue to ur MD , so that he can speak to them clearly about the suitation.
Hope this may help you
Any more suggestions friends

Hi Dear!
Look you have to be very straight forward being HR but do take care of others emotions too....Just tell you client about the situation and ask him to talk to your director about the same as you are working under your boss not client so you will have to work acc to your boss..

Hello there,
I have good exp with our X client.
I am manpower consultant, one of pune based client want urgent basis candidates and we provided good cv, we did our job after putting late many nights, but after sending cvs what feedback i got sock me, All CV is duplicate, i ask what basis you are giving feedback for given cv. she told me that we have those cv, they have job portal. but interesting part is that we did contacted candidate and agreed for interviews, also i cross check with them for anyone called for this opening and they said no one called up except at our end.
Now i called that HR and inform the conditions and she say that is our policy.
So if such cases happen what to do with HR, i told her we will not work for you anymore....
Suggest what care we need before signing terms & Conditions?

Hi,
I have worked in a consultancy I know what u saying, my suggestion is that when that client calls transfer u'r calls to u'r boss directly and ask him to speak. And if he is asking you about the call transfer, then u kindly tell him that u didn't know what to say and u thought that u’r boss is in a better position to speak to the client.
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply..
Yes i can do that, but what is a solution, so that in future i can handle such situation?
I Think,
IN the term and condition only we have to clear such things, so that once sign up done, it will consider both party agreed & also both have proof of documents, so that there is no scope of minor error.
I am sure you understand this situation..
Please feel free for any more info.

Hi,
I know for a fact this things are common in consultancy.
But since you are taking care of 4 or more clients, the candidates you have lined up for one client may also be used for the other client.
How important the clients are so are candidates, keep a track of good candidates, instead of sending candidates large in number we can always send a single candidate who is potential.
Coming to your MD,tell him that your time is getting wasted on the client which company doesn't want to do the business and tell him that he can concentrate on the other clients which is adding revenue to the company..
And when the clients call you for the candidates ask him, is the business with our consultancy is still there or did they outsourced to some other consultancy. Then that goanna ring a bell to him and he will contact the MD

Hi Gayatri,
Please speak to your Boss and ask him if you can settle the issue by speaking to the HR of the Company. Else arrange a meeting between the two and let them handle the issue further.
If this does not work then go ahead with your boss as he is the man under whom you work.
And Dear Hr of Hr,
Thanks for your ideas. But please take a second thought before you badmouth anybody.
Thanks

hi dear,
according to me, it is time to bring your negotiation skills into play. it is neither right to suffer losses nor is it correct to just drop the client. dropping him without any information is not ethical and will have a very negative impact on the reputation of your firm.
it is suggested that both the parties sit across the table and opely discuss their concerns. it would be nice if both the parties could arrive at a win-win situation.
warm regards-
diya
