Can I Become an HR Manager Quickly in a Small IT Firm? Seeking Career Growth Advice

Dhara.N
I am working in a small IT firm (having below 20 employees) as an HR Executive for 1 year. I handle all the basic HR work like employee data recording, leave management, recruitment planning, interviews, salary negotiation, performance appraisal, etc. As the company is small, I am the only HR person. My performance is always appreciated by our management team. Should I get promoted to the HR Manager position, or does it take more years to reach that position? Or, in the case of a small-scale organization, is promotion rapid?

Please let me know how I can have growth in my HR career.

If the management wishes to promote you to an HR Manager, it can be accepted. However, it is better if you get promoted to Senior Executive, then Assistant Manager, and finally Manager.
