The answer to your query is as provided by Yesubabu. The DSC comes either in a USB token or in a .pfx file, which requires the Java application to be installed on your PC for uploading it.

Please guide me. I have a digital signature USB token, but when inserting the token and attempting to approve, the page always shows a message to download Java for Windows, even after downloading and installing it.

Hi Subhrakanta,

If it is an EPFO portal, there is some problem with system settings and JAWA version installation. Check whether the status of DSC is active or otherwise. If it is deactivated or auto-rejected for some reasons, you have to get it re-registered. Once it is re-registered, a letter will be generated in PDF format. You have to take out the printout of the letter and send it to SRO for approval. In this regard, kindly go through the recent guidelines from EPFO.
