How Do You Successfully Headhunt for Senior Positions Without Job Portals?

abhaygadiyar
Hi,

If it is junior candidates, then maybe you can headhunt on any job portal by giving the target company name. For senior positions, this is not possible as no really good candidate puts his or her resume on a public domain like job portals. Use networking to source good candidates.

Hi,

If I want to do headhunting through Naukri, is it possible? If yes, how will I search for the candidates? Can anyone guide me on how to speak with the candidates when I play the role of recruiters? Or give me some tips on interacting with candidates.

Please help me because it's the first time I am doing the job of recruiters and headhunting.

If I want to recruit a GM for Logistics, then I can search the resume form portals, and I get the candidates from portals also.

Hi Jayshree,

Consider yourself really lucky if you can headhunt candidates for a GM position relying entirely on job portals! :D

Please guide me on how to do headhunting for senior and junior levels. What is the procedure? How do I contact them? Which sites will be useful for headhunting?

Hi,

Headhunting for junior-level and senior-level employees can be done through job portals. You can specify the skill set, experience, required field in which the employee is needed, and other details can be put in the job portal search.

You can try jobsahead, monster, and naukri. However, most senior-level positions can only be filled through references or consultancies. Senior-level candidates typically do not post their CVs on portals. For positions like GM, CFO, etc., relying on references or consultancies is more common.

If you are a paid member of job portals, you can also post an ad for the requirement on the site itself.
