HR is a vast subject, and it is not possible for anyone to tell you what questions an interviewer can ask. However, I will try to guide you:

1. Study your resume carefully first. Many candidates write objectives in the resume, but when interviewers ask about their objectives, most candidates fail to explain them. So, study your resume thoroughly.

2. You must understand the functions the HR department carries out in any organization.

3. Study the basic laws applicable to any factory or company. You should know about concepts like Lockout, Closure, Layoff, Strike, Retrenchment, the definition of an accident, welfare facilities, safety regulations, leave rules, etc.

4. Study all compliance requirements for HR, including factory license renewal, PF returns, PT returns, welfare fund returns, Employment Exchange returns, etc.

These are the basics, and you need to have a good grasp of all areas of HR.
