Struggling with Bell Curve in Excel? Need Help with Steps and Formulas!

Implementing the Bell Curve in Excel

Please assist. I have obtained some information about the Bell Curve from our forum, but I am not sure how to implement it in Excel. I do not have any prior experience working with the Bell Curve and have not had the opportunity to implement it in my organization.

1. What would be the next step after identifying all the employees' ratings?
2. How do we prepare the Bell Curve using the data and implement it?
3. What formula do we need to apply to implement the data?

It would be more helpful if you could share a sample document to provide a clearer picture.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi, thanks for the update. The details in the material are good, and I gained some knowledge. I am an HR professional with 5+ years of experience working in a software development company. We have a headcount of more than 1000. Presently, in a discussion, I came to know from my senior team that they are planning to implement a bell curve for the upcoming appraisal. Hence, I am excited to know about this appraisal process. Also, I recognize that it is essential for an HR professional to be aware of all this information.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Sudarsan, Thanks for providing that extra information. Please read articles such as the one found at The Myth Of The Bell Curve: Look For The Hyper-Performers - Forbes. I found it at https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourc...ce%20appraisal.
