How Will the New Industrial DA Rates Impact Your Salary from July 2014?

As you know, the Industrial DA with effect from 01.04.2014 for the 2007 and 1997 scales is 88.4% and 218.1% respectively. With the release of the All India Consumer Price Index for the months of March, April, and May 2014, the Industrial DA with effect from 01.04.2014 will be 91.3% (an increase of 2.9%) and 223% (an increase of 4.9%) respectively.

Dear Friends, As you know, the Industrial Dearness Allowance (DA) with effect from 01.07.2014 for the 2007 and 1997 scales is 91.3% and 223%, respectively. With the release of the All India Consumer Price Index for the months of June, July, and August 2014, the Industrial DA with effect from 01.10.2014 will be 98.1% (an increase of 6.8%) and 234.5% (an increase of 11.5%), respectively.
