Husband is working in a PSU and sharing accomodation with wife who has taken a Shop-cum-flat on Lease Basis in the Township of the Company. Pl. guide, if husband, employee, is eigible for HRA.

I suppose, your query is on HRA exemption under IT Act and not on HRA.
If husband is getting HRA and wife pays rent, in this case husband can claim HRA exemption provided wife is not claiming the exemption, to my knowledge. However, experts, please make comment on it.
