Can a New Employee Claim a PF Refund After Leaving in Just Two Months?

I am working in a Pvt Ltd Company as an HR Executive. We have completed all the PF nomination formalities for our new employees. One of them left after two months and is demanding a refund of their PF amount from both sides (Employer + employee). In this case, are they liable to receive this?

If any employee leaves before completing 3 months, he or she is not eligible for any PF claims.

EPF Registration Confirmation

First of all, could you please confirm whether your establishment is registered with EPFO or if you have your own EPF trust?
