Please guide me on what to do after MBA in HR. Can anyone advise me on which courses or professional studies I should opt for after completing an MBA in Human Resources? Currently, I am working as an HR Executive in an IT software company, and I want to further my studies to help me build a stronger career as an HR professional.

Please suggest some courses that I can pursue part-time since I am currently working.

Hi Nidhi,

If you are interested in training, you can opt for a PG Diploma in T&D from a reputed institution like ISTD (Indian Society of Training & Development) in Delhi.

Hi Sudandira,

Can you please guide me with ISTD (Indian Society of Training & Development) in Delhi? I am working as an HR Executive and have at least 6 months' experience in training. I have also completed my MBA project in training. It would be great help for me. Do they provide part-time education as I am currently working?

Cheers,

Hi Rajendra,

I think SAP is a good option. Presently, I am looking for something good. SAP is really going to overload me with loads of work, and currently, I am not willing to take that much pressure on me.

Any other options, please let me know.

Cheers,

Hi Dr. Kavita Shanmughan,

I am working in an IT software company with 1.6 years of experience. Currently, I am involved in recruitment, motivation, induction, etc. In my previous role, I focused on training, induction, presentations, motivational sessions, recruitment, etc.

I am planning to shift to the UK permanently and would like your suggestions on which courses could help me enhance my knowledge and secure a position in a country like the UK.

Please advise.

Hi,

I have completed my dual degree in MBA (Marketing / HR) and am currently working as a sales officer in an MNC for the past 2 years. However, I am now interested in transitioning into the HR sector. How can I make this move? Would taking any specific courses help me achieve my goal?

In an MBA program, you have already covered most of the topics that others might suggest. My suggestion is to consider pursuing a Ph.D. in strategic management. This decision will benefit you in the long term, especially as you gain more experience.

Transitioning to the HR Sector

You will have better opportunities in the job market if you are willing to compromise on your salary. Companies tend to appreciate and give preference to professionals with experience in the relevant field. Lack of HR experience, while having experience in another field, may reflect negatively on your productivity in HR. To address this, you can enhance your profile by highlighting any HR-related tasks you have performed in your current role. Additionally, obtaining an MBA in HR certificate could be beneficial. Seeking advice from experts in the field is also advisable.

Thank you.
