How Can HR Help Employees Check Their PF Balance and Account Details?

Hi, I am working in a company as an HR executive for the past four months. One of my employees is asking me to check the total amount of PF in his account so that he can withdraw the PF amount. He also wants to know the entry and exit dates for his particular account. What is the procedure to check an employee's PF balance in his account?

Please visit the EPFO website and select "Know Your Balance." Fill in the details, and you will receive your PF balance. The data will be updated until 31.03.2014.

You can ask your employees to register themselves under the EPFO Member portal and download the PF slip from the Employer portal to provide printouts to them. The link for member registration is as follows: http://members.epfoservices.in/.

Please register in the EPFO E-passbook and download the statement of your PF from the Member Portal.

Apart from this, you can suggest the employee visit the EPFO office to get the balance details from the concerned department.
