Dear Mike ji,

You need to take steps as under:

i. You need to apply online for PT enrollment of your company if it is not proprietary or partnership.

ii. You need to apply for PT enrollment of your every director / partner / proprietor, as the case may be. If already having enrollment, no need to apply now.

iii. You need to apply online PT registration which will give you an authority to deduct PT form salary of employees and remit it under this registration.

On line applications to be made on portal: www.mahavat.gov.in

You will get directions on portal on submitting the on line applications according to which you will approach the authority with required documents and collect the respective certificates of enrollment / registration.

In this certificates, mention is there about the payments.

Under each enrollment, annually is payable.

Under registration, whatever PT you have deducted, is to be remitted. In the first year, as mentioned in certificate and from next year onwards, annually or monthly depending upon your PTax liability during previous year.

You need to engaged a person like me to take care of such issues. You can get solution to your every problem related to HR / Labour Law and compliance under it. From me you will get all this compressive under one umbrella.
