Want To CA Course

Hi,
My name is Nisha. I am working in an Organization. I have completed my B.Com with 63% in 2004. I am planning to apply for Chartered accountant course now. Do I need to apply for Foundation course for this course? Or is it possible for me to go for intermediate course? I also want to check for this course we need to do article ship of 3 years. Can I do articleship in part time? Because working is my basic need as it is the only source of income I have. Kindly suggest. And please share me the complete process of CA and any CA or auditors consultants name and contact details under whom I can do articleship in Bangalore.

Thanks for the updates. Its of great help. I just went through it and found out that I have to undergo 3 years practical training but before that I have to do 9 month of practical training and then attend Group I or both the exam. What does that mean? Could you please elaborate?

Hi Nisha Mohan,
No practical training required to appear for IPC course.
Appear in Intermediate (IPC) Examination/ATE on completion of 8 months of study course as on first day of the month in which the examination is to be held
Join articled training after passing either Group I or Both Groups of Intermediate (IPC) Course.
Complete Orientation programme and 100 hours ITT training before start of Article training.

Oh ok. This means that I have finish my 8 months of Study course and then enter the exam. Actually when I checked with the ICAI Bangalore Branch. We need to compulsory complete 9 months articleship to attend this exam. What does this study course. Do we need to work under some auditors during this tenure?

No. You ca appear for exam after 8 months of registration with CA institute.
