Family Members in Leadership: Should They Top the Organizational Structure?

bn_banerjee
Dear Friends,

Our organization is a family-oriented organization. Recently, the next generation has started coming to our organization and looking after certain departments. After joining, I decided to prepare an organizational structure. Please advise whether I should put all the family members' names who joined our organization at the top of the structure or not.

Thanks & regards,
B. Banerjee

Hi,

Don't add all the names; it may create problems in your organization. Discuss with your senior officers before preparing the chart or wait for some days.

If they are part of the organizational chart, then they have to be represented according to their position in the hierarchy. If they are members of the board, then it is not on the org chart.
