Feeling Stuck in My Career: Should I Take a Front Office Job or Wait for HR Opportunities?

vivekvyas64@gmail.com
I am currently working as a computer operator in a trust with a low salary. I am searching for a new job, and a job recruiter took 2000 rupees from me to offer me a position as a front office executive. I am feeling confused about accepting the role as a front office executive. I am unsure if this job experience will be helpful for my future. I am a 28-year-old male with a graduate qualification, currently pursuing my MBA in the 1st Semester.

Seeking Career Advice

Can you please advise me on whether joining this job would be beneficial for me in the future? I am particularly interested in finding a job as an HR Executive. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.

If you are pursuing an MBA in HR, then a front office executive profile would help you gain skills, experience, and enter into HR specialization. If you want to be an HR executive, it is better to join a profile that provides some exposure. The front desk profile offers more exposure compared to a computer operator profile. In the front desk profile, computer operation is included but with additional dimensions such as interacting with different departments, associates, administration, and office management. All the best!

Thank you.
