Surbhi_Knowledge
Hi! I am a freelance soft skills trainer. I have just taken a baby step in this field. Could you please suggest some good books that I can read to enrich my knowledge? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Surbhi,

Welcome to the World of Trainers Community. I wish to convey only small suggestions.

Skills are something which you acquire through practice. Whether it's communication or delivering content or anything else, it basically comes down to skill. Take as many opportunities as possible to step onto the stage and deliver a lecture. Every time you speak, be well-prepared. This includes developing content consistently. Think about how you can enhance your presentation each time. Consider adding clippings, short films, or injecting humor into your delivery, among other techniques. Another crucial aspect is interpreting things positively. A dot on the wall may be just a dot to anyone else. However, if you can find a new perspective to interpret it differently, that will enhance your skills.

Every person you meet is like a book. You can study them and discover positive aspects to learn from. Learning is a lifelong process. Read books on personality development. Any book can be valuable as long as you extract as much as you can from it. That's all for now. If you need more information, feel free to reach out to me. Thanks and regards.
