There is no legal format available for the termination of any contract; you can directly send a termination letter. Please find below the draft of the same and kindly amend it as per your need.

Termination of Contract

Dear Sir,

This letter is in reference to the contract that was signed on 6th July 2010. We wish to inform you that according to the termination clause of the contract, we wish to terminate the contract, as we are not satisfied with the quality of services provided by your organization.

We would like to terminate the service contract with effect from 1st November 2011 by providing one month's notice. Hence, you are hereby requested to serve us the services till 30th November 2011 midnight.

We thank you for all the support extended to us during your tenure of service with us and wish you all the best for your future endeavors.

Thank you for your reply. I need specific information regarding the security agency that has not been providing satisfactory services to our company. Inform your seniors that we cannot employ people and terminate them without pay for the period they worked. Proportionate pay as per the period worked is mandatory. I am sure your letter of probation would have specified a salary for the employee. That itself is the document which mandates payment of salary on a monthly basis.

Dear Security Manager,

I would like to bring to your notice that our company has decided to terminate the security services. There are many issues we are facing, so we decided to take this action. We had many expectations from your end as a security company; however, the personnel provided by your company are not as efficient as we thought. We observed them not following our company rules, and we have also found personnel missing from their positions. Many employees have complained about the mismanagement of the security personnel. We do not accept such things in our company, and thus we decided to terminate the service. We will terminate the service from the 3rd of next month.
