Need Help Finding Shop and Establishment Inspection Forms – Can You Share Yours?

Request for Shop and Establishment Inspection Forms

Recently, we had a shop and establishment inspection. The inspector who visited our office asked for the following forms to be used:

• Attendance to be maintained in Form J
• Leave Register detailed in Form M
• Pay & Wage Register in Form 2A
• Leave Book - Form N
• Form E
• Inspection visit book

Please visit the MCGM website to obtain the forms from there. Note that if it's a large company, you can apply for an exemption and maintain the records electronically. Inspector visit books can be purchased from any stationery shop.

Strictly speaking, the above forms are actually registers. Each form is a register book to record the names of employees, their designations, salary particulars, etc. These books are available in bookshops that sell factory registers and shops and establishments registers. If you don't find that shop, inform me, and I will email you the pro forma of those forms.

Can you please inform me where I can get these registers? If possible, please procure the below-referred stationery:

1. Form III Muster Roll cum Wage Register under the Minimum Wages Act and Maharashtra Rules.
2. One copy of the Attendance Card and one copy of Wage Slips under the Minimum Wages and Maharashtra Rules.
3. Inspection Book under the Minimum Wages Act and Maharashtra Rules.
4. Overtime Register under the Minimum Wages Act and Maharashtra Rules.
5. Register - Form 'I' under the Maharashtra Workers Minimum HRA Act 1983.
6. Register of HRA Form 'A' under the Maharashtra Workers Minimum HRA Act 1983.
7. Visit Book for the Maharashtra Workers Minimum HRA Act 1983.

Labor Inspection and Required Registers

Does labor inspection happen when you apply for a shops and establishment certificate, and is one supposed to keep all these registers handy for such inspection?
