Considering a Distance MBA or PGDBA: Will It Truly Boost My IT Career?

I have close to 6 years of IT experience. I was wondering what options I have now regarding post-graduation studies. I want to do a PG course that is accepted in India (and preferably abroad). But an even greater priority for me is a course that will help me advance up the corporate ladder.

Questions About Distance Education and Career Advancement

Here is a question I have: will a distance education post-graduation course really add value to my career? Is it worth the time, effort, and money? If it is, how does it add value? And which course and institute should I opt for? How is the PGDBA program offered by Symbiosis? What are the alternatives to PGDBA regarding an IT professional?

I would like to add that I am and always have been employed in top-tier IT companies (such as Infy, TCS, etc.). I am just adding this information hoping that it will enable people to give me better advice.
