EPF Limit For Employees

Similar to Employer EPF limit of 6,500 can the employee also restrict his contribution to 12% of 6500 and not pay as per the basic salary.
E,g. Employee Basic 10000 - he wants to restrict PF deduction from his salary for 6500 - can this be done for EMPLOYEE....

Yes , employee can also opt for the same provided if employer agrees as per their standard policy T&C when they fix employee CTC
