I have been a passive member on CiteHR, for quite sometime, and something that struck me was the sheer number of posts seeking a way to source specific talent. I understand how tough a process this could be, especially when your requirements are for niche profiles, and you end up paying a premium for Naukri and Monster for their resume database when only 1% of profiles would be actually relevant to you. So how do you build a pipeline of your own talent, and keep it engaged?
I'm sure, quite a few would say they have their own company career website, where they'd do recruitment branding and also keep job-seekers updated about their latest openings. Other companies use job postings to hunt for talent, and gather resumes. My question here is, what happens to these resumes once they are sourced? Do you actively communicate with them? Or have an internal search tool to hunt for specific profiles later? Can you segregate these resumes, according to skill areas?
My company CareerBuilder, is the world's largest job board, with a presence in over 62 countries. We've been rated by Forbes as among the Top 10 best companies across the world to work for. We're owned by Microsoft and Tribune, and were launched in 1996. Apart from our core services like Resume Database and Job Postings, over the years CareerBuilder has evolved from a Global Job Board to a technology powerhouse and has an array of SAAS products focused on delivering end to end recruitment solutions.
For those who say sourcing has become tough, I'd like to draw your attention to the Talent Network, the world's best sourcing and talent management platform, now fully customised for India. The talent network is plug and play, and automatically does the sourcing for profiles you'd require. It's one of the coolest tools for recruitment branding too. The TN sources from multiple platforms, including social networks and could be built in to your email signature too!
Mercedes Benz, Xerox, Apple, JP Morgan, Lenovo and Nasdaq are among 3000 firms globally that use the TN as their primary sourcing tool. here's the complete client list, with links to each Talent Network.
