Understanding Delay in Receiving Offer Letters: Guidance on Navigating Employment Status Changes

kiran.janrao
Hi,

I attended the interview at Tata Technologies and cleared the same. It was a contract-to-hire position. I also received an email from my payroll company stating that I have been selected for the position and got a confirmation call from Tata Technologies. I submitted the necessary documents from all my previous employers and educational details. However, to date, I have not received any offer. When I inquired about this, they informed me that my candidature is on hold. In that case, why did they send me an email stating that I had been selected?

Could you please advise me on what steps I should take next?

Thank you.

Sometimes delays occur due to processes such as background checks or other reasons. Stay patient and continue to inquire about the cause. You should eventually receive the offer letter. Just confirm with them if the position you applied for has been put on hold.
