Is My Company Really Depositing My Provident Fund? How to Find Out When Details Are Missing

sasank143
I hope you all are fine. I have some discussions/clarifications regarding PF. Presently, I am employed in a private limited company. The company is not providing a salary slip, so the PF account number is a mystery to all employees in my organization. I also read the threads on how to retrieve PF details from the respective PF office through a complaint, and I got that from a phone call by some officials of the PF office. The issue is happening when I am searching for the PF balance; an error is coming up, saying "Data not available. For details, please contact the respective EPF Office."

I also searched for my company details through an establishment search. There, I found my company's transaction details monthly-wise. In the employee list, my name appeared.

My Question

Is the company depositing my PF or not, as my name is showing in the company's monthly transactions and employee details?

Kindly clarify this for me.

Thanks in advance.

Since you can trace the establishment as well as your employee details from the website, some key information you are entering for the PF balance inquiry might be missing. Please try again.

If you find a remark that states "Data not found," it indicates that the monthly returns were not filed by the employer. If possible, please visit the PF Office and check the details in person.

When I search for payment status and click on the employee count detail, I see my name appearing on the list. I regret hiding company details as every company has its privacy.

Query Regarding PF Transaction Validation

My query is: If a name is mentioned in the PF transaction employee list, does it validate that the PF has been deposited? This confusion arises because the company is not issuing salary slips.

Validation of PF Transactions

Please refer to my earlier post. If your name is mentioned in the PF transaction list, then that shows that your company is depositing PF into your account. What other validation do you require? EPFO is a government entity. If the records of a government entity show your account details, then I don't think you require any further validation. Are you trying to say that you believe in the salary slip more than the EPFO records?
