How Can I Withdraw My PF After Leaving a Job Without Resignation? Seeking Guidance!

I worked in a big contractor firm for one year. After one year, I was tired of that job, so I left the company without resignation or any information to my company about leaving the job. The company's head office is in Chennai, but I was working under its Kolkata cluster office in Orissa state, and I was its permanent employee. Now, I wish to withdraw my PF contribution amount. Please guide me on what I have to do for that. Currently, I am working in the Karnataka government.

Regards.

Dear Shashikumar,

If your new organization is unexempted and you are still contributing to PF, then you can transfer your old organization's PF amount to the new organization's PF number. For this, you can approach your new organization's HR Department, and they will need to fill out Form-13. If your new organization is exempted from PF, then you have to withdraw your PF. For that, you need to approach your old organization's HR Department and fill out Form 19 and Form 10-C.

Thank you, Mr. Sharma Raj. Currently, I am working under the Karnataka State Government as a permanent employee. My job is exempt from the Employee Provident Fund (EPF). Is it mandatory to get the approval of the old organization's HR department because I have not officially resigned from the company or informed them about leaving the job? Please assist.

Dear Sir,

I have a query regarding withdrawal of PF. One employee resigned from one organization and joined another. Can he create another PF account number under the previous UAN number? Will he be able to withdraw his full PF amount (EPF+EPS) contributed in the previous organization?

Thank you.
