Inquiry About Insurance Requirements for Contract Workers

Please provide me with information. I have a Workers' Compensation (WC) policy, but I do not have Personal Accident (PA) insurance. Is it compulsory to have both WC and PA insurance for contract workers at a construction site?

When your legal liability for employment accidents is fully covered by the Workers' Compensation (WC) policy you have taken out for contract labor, I believe it is sufficient. However, individuals well-versed in insurance laws may provide further clarification.

Thank you.

Hi, WC Policy is an insurance policy that provides legal coverage in places where there is no ESIC cover. Apart from this statutory requirement, it would be beneficial for employees to have personal accident insurance (PA insurance).

The Workmen's Compensation Policy is an insurance policy for contract labor that provides legal coverage in places where no ESIC cover is available or applicable. This is a statutory requirement.
