ESI and PF Deductions: Are They Consistent Across India or Do They Vary by State?

Dear friends, is the ESI and PF deduction percentage the same all over India, or does it vary state-wise? If so, where can I find state-wise details?

Applicability of the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) Act

The Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) Act is applicable all over India except in Jammu and Kashmir.

ESI and PF Contributions Across India

ESI and PF contributions are the same in all states in India. However, in the case of sick industries (declared industries), the PF contribution will be less than 12%.
