Can I Still Get a Scheme Certificate After Withdrawing My PF Fund? Need Guidance!

Dear All,

I worked in a private organization for 6 years and withdrew my PF fund immediately after I left it. When I forwarded Form 10C to the PF Office to claim a scheme certificate, they sent it back, saying that the certificate cannot be claimed after the withdrawal of the PF amount. Please guide me on the procedure to obtain a Scheme Certificate to club my past service.

One can only apply for the scheme certificate if the contribution to EPF/EPS accumulation is made for 10 years or more. Only then will the scheme certificate be issued. The process is the same; the application should be made on Form 10C. For service of less than ten years, withdrawal of both accumulations will be provided.
