I want to know about the calculation of basic pay and DA in minimum wages for the Shop and Establishment Act.

I want to know about the calculation of Basic Pay and DA in minimum wages for a servicing and manufacturing company in Andhra Pradesh. Could someone provide insights or guidelines on how these are determined under the relevant labor laws?

Please see the attached Minimum Wages Act 1948 PDF file for the calculation sheet with MW Go copy as of 01-04-2013 (for your reference). Accordingly, you can calculate the same as of 01-04-2014 using the cost of living index.

Please find attached herewith the Revised Minimum Wages in Madhya Pradesh for the period April to October 2014 for reference. The contract labor's wages mentioned here are calculated as Basic+DA by the labor department (Page 3).
