Facing Salary Issues After Delayed Offer Letter – How Should I Address This?

vikash9598
I am working in a broking company. I joined this company on 3rd February 2014, and my NISM certificate was attached in the branch on that day. When I asked for an offer letter, they told me that it would come shortly. I received my offer letter on 11th March 2014, after 36 days of joining. In April, I received a salary from the date of the offer letter. However, they are not giving me my previous salary. What should I do?

They may give back the salary after getting approval from the competent authority in due course of time. Don't worry about it.

They have also done these things with the previous employees, and they don't give salaries.

Please email a letter to HR stating all factors and inquire about why your joining date has not been calculated for salary. Additionally, kindly request them to calculate your joining date and credit your salary since 3rd February. Please copy your personal ID on the email to HR and your line managers.

Thank you.

I would suggest you speak to the concerned HR politely and try to understand the genuine reason. In case this is the policy, then please continue working.

All the best.
