Company Deducted Double PF from My Salary by Mistake – How Can I Get It Back?

Hi, my company has deducted double the share of PF from my salary for the month of March by mistake. Now, they seem a little reluctant to give me the arrears of that amount. Please guide me on the options available as per PF rules. Is it possible to adjust that amount in the next month?

Don't worry. If they deduct the exact PF amount from your salary for any particular month, then they can adjust the same in the next month's salary. They need to adjust the same while uploading the monthly challan and ECR copy. Accordingly, it will be rectified in Form 3A too.
