Governments (Labour Ministry) Rejects Demands Of PF Department For Remittance Of PF Contribution On Other Than Basic Salary

Dear Friends,
Please find attached herwith a News report from Times of India confrming that employers have not to make PF contribution on other allowances part of the salary. This may come handy untill the official notification regarding the same comes.

Pl note that Central P.f. Commissioner vide their letter dtd 18th March'2014 ( Copy Attached) had already communicated to all RPFC'sin this regards.

Dear All,
I have one query. my company paying salary amount as an gross, there is no breakup. Now I have joined the organization and planning to do all things.
As there is no basic, PF benefit is not given but if I create breakup can I deduct PF with effect from this month or I need to deduct it form there date of joining.
if yes is there any hard proof.
