Can anybody help me with a soft copy of the Model Standing Order Act? Also, I need clarification on whether it is common for all states or if we have state-wise standing orders.

Clarification on the Model Standing Order Act

There is no Model Standing Order Act, but we have a central act called the Industrial Establishments (Standing Orders) Act. It is a central act, but the state rules and amendments are always available state-wise.

Soft copies of the act are readily available on the internet.

Do you mean to say that you need to find out the procedures for issuing a charge sheet and suspending an employee or the letter formats for these? I don't think that the Model Standing Order will contain formats or drafts. For procedures, you can even refer to the Central Act, and there may not be any difference.
