I am facing a very different kind of problem.
Background of the Issue
Eleven years ago, at the beginning of my career, I was working for an IT company in Bangalore. The CEO terminated me for personal reasons related to marriage. While terminating me, he provided two types of letters: one stating I was terminated for work below expectations (although I had not made any mistakes), and another stating "I am excellent."
Later, using his caste and language connections, he started to target me.
Experience at Wipro
After two years, I joined Wipro and was performing well. However, when I moved to a new project, my General Manager (GM) belonged to the same caste and language as my old boss, and I started facing harassment.
After a few months, I requested HR to transfer me to Pune. They transferred me, but later, that GM used his power to cancel the transfer and forced me to resign. I have all the email communications regarding this. Even after resigning, I was not given a relieving letter without any proper reason.
Since my field of work is very narrow (with very few companies in Bangalore), I missed several opportunities due to negative feedback given by Wipro seniors and others (I have a document about it).
Subsequent Employment Challenges
I joined a new small company after a few years. I was doing well and was sent to the USA for a project, where I received appreciation and feedback from the customer. However, once everyone was trained by me, my GM, senior, and junior colleagues, who belonged to the same language group, started to discriminate and harass me. The lady GM, using her caste and language connections, asked for my resignation without any reason. I asked her to terminate me since the notice period was three months. Eventually, I was tortured in different ways, and they managed to obtain my resignation. I have forwarded most of the email communications to my personal email ID.
Later, I discovered that the lady GM is the wife of my Wipro GM.
Even after leaving, I struggled to get my last one and a half months' salary (as my salary was not given until I resigned), the relieving letter, and the PF amount (which is still not settled).
Seeking Legal Advice
All of this seems to be a planned game. Please let me know how I can fight legally on this matter.
Since I belong to a middle-class family, I have to fight. This situation has badly affected both my personal and professional life. Even though my work performance is good, I am either terminated or forced to resign, leading to uncertainty and an inability to make decisions.
Please kindly suggest how I can fight this issue.
