Choosing Between a Dissertation and Five Subjects: Which Path is Best for My HR Career?

dipen1925@gmail.com
I am a student pursuing a Master's in Human Resource Management. Right now, I have two options to shape my career. I can either choose three subjects with one dissertation or opt for five subjects.

Guidance Needed: Dissertation or Five Subjects?

I would appreciate your guidance on what I should choose—a dissertation or five subjects? Which option will be easier, and which one will provide maximum help for my future? Please guide me.

Thanks in advance to all.

I am not here to choose for you, but I am here to guide you on how to choose. It may not be the correct criterion to make a choice between two academic options based on which is easier. If you do not go for the choice of a dissertation, then you have to study two more subjects but research less. If you opt for a dissertation, you study less but research more. Therefore, the amount of hard work you need to put into either of the options seems to be more or less even if you are not someone who identifies studying with mechanical reading of the content but with intelligent learning of the subject.

Find out which one you enjoy most, i.e., studying with a purpose and understanding or researching and writing. In either case, your efforts can fetch you rewards if they are original and a cut above the stereotypes. The choice is yours, and some choices are tough to make. All the best.

Hope this helps.
