Well, salary slips seem to be correct. But what's missing are PF and ESIC. Ukmitra.

Dear [Recipient], As my PF and ESIC are not deducted here, they paid me by cheque. I think 10,000 is mistakenly mentioned. TDS will not be shown in the payslip.

Thank you.

Yes, you are right. A total deduction of Rs. 10,000/- is printed by mistake. The TDS and Professional Tax, if any, have to be mentioned in the payslip.

Your payslip does not show deductions towards PF and Profession Tax. You are out of coverage for ESI, so no deduction needs to be made towards this. Also, no income tax is deducted, although your income for the F.Y. 2013-14 (A.Y. 2014-15) falls within the taxable limit, assuming that you have been drawing the same salary for the entire year.

PF is also not applicable for you because your basic salary is more than ₹6,500/-, and maybe PT is also not applicable depending on which state you are working.

As per my knowledge, your payslip format is not correct. Some aspects are missing. Some of them have already been mentioned by other members.

There is an obvious error in your payslip. An amount of Rs.10,000/- is shown as deductions (the heads under which this deduction is made are not specified). Then how come the gross and net salary are the same at Rs.22,000/-?

With a gross monthly salary of Rs.22,000/-, your annual salary comes to Rs.2,64,000/-, which falls into the taxable bracket. Is your employer deducting any amount towards income tax?
