How Will the New V.D.A. Revision Impact Minimum Wages in Jharkhand Starting April 2014?

Government Notification: Revision of V.D.A. in Minimum Wages - Jharkhand

Please find the enclosed Government Notification for the revision of V.D.A. in Minimum Wages in Jharkhand, effective from 01.04.2014. For the basic salary, you may refer to the Government Notification dated 16.06.2011. The minimum increase is Rs. 11.08 in U/S and S/S categories. The monthly impact is Rs. 289 more than earlier.

Jharkhand VDA from April 2015 was declared by the government. Every year, the Jharkhand government increases VDA in the months of October and April. However, the government notification has not been issued yet.

I would like to know whether this revision is for 6 months or for 1 year (from 01.04.2014). Also, I would request you to share the new notification on VDA revision for the year 2015 if already issued by the Government.

Dear Raghavendra Ji, thank you for watching this thread and asking questions to me. Please note, the Jharkhand Govt. revises V.D.A. every six months, in April and October each year. The revision in wages occurs once every 5-6 years. The last revised wages date was 16.06.2011, and till now only V.D.A. has been revised and increased.

The fresh notification effective from 01.04.2015 is attached to this reply, although I have posted it separately. I hope this clears your ideas.
