HR tal
I need help to write a note to the CEO of my Company about a case of an employee who re-joined the organization. His exit was clean, but he realized this mistake so he came back after serving probation in another organization having similar nature of business and same designation, but higher salary. Please help me out on writing about his case which will be checked on year end.

Dear Sir,

This is to put a reminder for one of our employees who worked with us for around 2 years and resigned from our company by his own decision and joined another organization having similar business, same designation but higher salary. His exit was clean, and we accepted his resignation on a good note that he might be looking for best. We released him and issued all the necessary documents that he needed. But we did not allow him to serve the notice period, which was decided on a mutual consent.

According to the employee, when he was appointed in that organization, after a month or so he realized that the working environment in that organization is not comfortable, as he was in his probationary period for three months. The work was good but the people and the team was not supportive and cooperative at all, and it is not always about work, salary and perks you are getting but sometimes in fact, most of the time people you are working with do matter a lot.

Almost after two months, the employee approached to the (hiring authority) immediate supervisor for rehiring process. It took us around a month to come up with a decision that whether to hire him or not. So, after considering so many aspects, his previous performance, his commitments, we decided to re-hire him as he was good in his work and made a mistake that brought him back to our company. We re-hired him on same salary, terms and conditions which he left on and he agreed to be appointed on the same conditions. He joined us before getting permanent over there and submitted his release letter as well.

We make sure that he does not land to same era again which made him resign.

Except a few minor corrections and grammatical errors, on the whole the note is good.
I am sure one of our members would correct it and rectify the few errors.
Warm regards..

Have made some minor changes...hope it meet your need

Dear Sir,

This is in regards to Re- hiring of one of our ex - employees Mr/Ms……..who had been associated with our company from ….to…….duration He had shown his immense interest to the hiring authority & his immediate supervisor to re-join our company.

He had earlier resigned from our company to take up an opportunity with one of our competitor group at same designation but higher salary. His exit had been clean at a good note we had waived off his notice period by a mutual consent. He had been in a probation period of 3 months. In a discussion with human resource department concern shared by the ex-employee was that in his new organization though he had no issue regarding his job profile but the work environment was not comfortable. The team was not at all supportive and cooperative.

After a series of discussion with him for almost a month, considering & evaluating all aspects about his past performance records, feedback regarding his work commitment & dedication to work we re-hired him on same salary, terms and conditions which he left on and he agreed to be appointed on the same conditions. He joined us on…..before getting permanent over there and submitted his release letter.

We ensure he would prove to be an asset to our organization a serve a long productive tenure with our organization.

Best Regards,

Human Resource Department
