Can I Claim My Pension After Nearly 10 Years of Service? Seeking Clarity on EPF Rules

I have worked in a company for 9 years and 11 months. Regarding the EPF amount, I have claimed the PF amount without the pension amount. They are telling me that after 9 years and 6 months, it will be considered as eligibility for pension. Can I claim the same? Please specify if there is any rule relating to this.

After completion of 9 years and six months, a one-time withdrawal from the pension fund is not possible. You can claim the pension at the appropriate time.
