Confused About Act 75 of 1997 and Hourly Rate Calculation in India? Need Your Advice

Good Evening All, I have a doubt. Is Act 75 of 1997 applicable in India? Is it right to use this formula while calculating the rate per hour?

Formula for Calculating Rate Per Hour

Salary ÷ 26 (days per month) ÷ 7½ (working hours) and 26 x 7½ = Total working hours per month (195 hours).

Please provide suggestions.
