Seeking Career Guidance for Job Transition

I am Sandhya, an MBA (Marketing) graduate who completed my degree in 2003. Due to personal reasons, I stayed at home for a long time without working. However, since last year, I have been employed as an HR Manager in a small company. Unfortunately, the company I am currently working for is going to shut down in a few days. Could you please guide and help me on how, with my limited experience, I can secure a new job?

Thank you.

Regards,
Sandhya

Since you have been working, the gap no longer matters. Your experience in this firm would account for your next job. Do you have any target role in mind?

Thank you for your reply. I do have a target role as an HR Generalist. What are my chances of getting a new job, and how do I face an interview with such a gap? What kind of questions do I have to face with the interviewer? Please guide me.

Regards,
Sandhya
