Hi, I worked for a company for two months as a fresher. Then my mother got ill (spinal injury), and I had to leave that job without serving the notice period. I did inform my managers and told them about my inability to join the company again. They asked me to write that formally and to meet them once, but due to the seriousness of my mother's health, I wasn't able to complete the formalities.
After two months, I received the termination letter from the company.
Two months after the termination letter, I received a letter from the same company stating that they are doing a full and final settlement and I have to pay more than 15k to get my relieving letter. The letter also states that if I don't give them the required amount, they will initiate appropriate actions against me.
I don't want any experience letter.
Questions Regarding Company Actions and Future Implications
Can anybody tell me:
1) What are the actions that a company can take against me if I do not pay that amount?
2) If I don't get my relieving letter, what kind of problems would I have to face in the future?
Please help.
