Legal Notice for Ex employee - employee left the company and he took the company's laptop along with him

Hi,Please help me to with the Legal notice format . One employee left the company and he took the company\'s laptop along with him. As per company policy He has to submit that assets. But he has left the company without Submit. Management wants to send the legal notice to him on the basis of not submitted company\'s assets.
Please help me with the legal notice format.

Hi,
This has reference to your resignation we would also like to inform you that you have been issued company assets (Laptop, mobile, etc.) which are still not submitted by you to the company.
You are hereby conveyed to deposit all the office assets to the company which is still with you. If not company will be forced to take disciplinary action against you. Failing which, the company will be compelled to lodge an FIR against you.
You can make some nessesary changes accoring to your case.
