How Can I Submit My Provident Fund Form Without My Last Employer's Attestation?

kanuarora
I need to obtain the provident fund from my last employer's contribution. I have submitted the complete form, but as I was previously employed at Kingfisher Airlines, there is currently no one available in the office to provide the necessary attestation. Could you please advise me on whether I can dispatch the form to the concerned department without the attestation from my last employer? Additionally, please provide me with the complete address where I should send the form, or let me know if I can submit it in person.

Thank you.

Submitting Provident Fund Forms Without Employer Attestation

Get the attestation from a gazetted officer and submit it to the PF commissioner where your PF account was maintained by the company.

I called the PF authorities in Mumbai, and they said if your company is closed, then you may get your signature attested by banks. Is it okay to get it attested by a notary public, or is it necessary to get it attested by a bank?

If you are sure that there is no proper authority to sign your application, the next and only alternative is to get attestation from your bank official because they know about you. Attestation from a Gazetted officer or notary public will not be acceptable by the PF authorities.

The EPF authorities have guided you rightly. You may get your signatures verified by your banker, a gazetted officer (as mentioned by Pon), or in the way you have mentioned yourself. After that, simply submit the same to the concerned EPF office through registered post or by hand.
