Very Excellent Thoughts and thanks for Post .

All are activities you have mentioned in above post is our basic activities.

Day to day coming new ideas for improvement in Health ,safety & Environment.

We are doing a new activity for Improvement and educating for workers & staff also " SAFETY OFFICER 4 ONE DAY"

We have wrote all workers name individual slip and kept in box for lucky draw.

Every morning after safety prayer The Project Manager/ Plant Head/Safety HOD Opening a slip for "ONE DAY SAFETY OFFICER" from workers side.

The worker will safety officer for one day and gives observation to safety In-charge , one worker will be safety officer for one time only . all workers will take chance for safety officer post for one day.if they have any problem ,they can talk/discuss direct to HOD safety/Area In-charge Safety.

we observed after 6 month above 180 workers habitual work with our system, they were following all safety rules and giving advise to others like new workers.

So , I think ,this is regular activity for improvement in Health,safety and Environment.

If Possible,we can applicable for all our construction sites and Plants.

yes , It's good idea . Just we need to take care that One Day safety Officer whatever communicating to others that should not deviate safety basics ( which we can do by monitoring him by other expert ) ... If it works properly then definitely it will help to strengthen safety culture

Safety at work place and it practices imbibes safety habits in workers mostly restricted up to their work places only.In general i have noticed that safety habits in many workers are not displayed elsewhere in the society at large. This means Worker just observe safety practices at work only because it is mandatory at their work place.I suggest experts to induct some methods to realize the people the real value of safety through picturing /showcasing some realistic events incidents and accidents which directly affects the person in terms understanding how precious the life is.Not only this,let workers know the aftereffects of certain tragedies that had occurred to some one due to non adherence of safety in general.
People should understand Safety As -
Safety is not merely a professional attribute to learn and follow, it should really be understood as an essence of life.
