I am Sushil, and I am working in a Forging Industry where 15 Earned Leaves (EL) per year are adjusted in lieu of absences.
My question is: what are the rules for Earned Leave? Can we adjust an employee's absences in place of EL within the year or not? If we adjust an employee's absences in the current month, then their one-day absence will be calculated at a rate of 30 or 31 days. However, if we grant EL at the end of the year, it will be calculated by dividing 26 into their wages.
Is a person entitled to EL who is working on a retainer basis? He has been regularly attending the office for the last two and a half years. If entitled, can he ask for leave encashment?

Please send me the unprotected sheet and also help me in the following matter. I would like to know how to calculate the wages every month in leave details such as January, February, and so on. In your sheet, I noticed that the basic wage is listed as Rs18500 for the 1st employee, but for the month of January, it was listed as 18000, and so forth.
