Dear Rakhi,

TNA can be for I) Knowledge II) Skill III) Attitude Further it can be classified under requirement :

a) Based on the company's LONG TERM vision & goal. b) strengthening or bridging the current KSA

The fees depend on Size, Strength, Field of the organisation and also based on company's requirement in a specific are of TNA. During my tenure of giving support to companies to enhance and strengthen its Talent Management - It s hard to give a figure because one size doesn't fit all, but depending on man hours required and level of TNA, it can be broad range between Rs.500/- to Rs.2000/- per man hour.

When companies indulge in TNA - usually its much later in the stage when things have started to unravel, at that time, TNA and immediate refreshers become essential for the company to survive and ensure longevity. TNA can reap benefits for a company when its done at the right stage and timeline. Think of it as in investment in child's future during its growing stage, although you can see subtle changes in a few days, if implemented correctly it can help shape the brand and the ROI will be seen in form of goodwill.

thnk you very much deena for your valuable input, would look into the matter as per what you told. i hope i got you right, as per than man hour you mean per hour?.

Hai,
What Deena said is good. The most important matter is followup by the HR/training department
or HOD very systematically and spend time to interact with participants regularly at intervals after they
completed their Training .whether soft skill or technical training it should
not be a formality of training man hours per head etc.To be useful to the participants and the
organisation. It may take time to yield results but regular followup will surely help like preventive
maintenance.
The cost depends on Trainer and the location of your unit.In Chennai Per day minimum charge
for the faculty is 15 k to 20 k (8 hrs of program).Of course the maximum participants should not
exceed 25 to 30 per program.

Dear Rakhi,
You're welcome Rakhi.
I do mean man hour, not per hour. Reason being in training, if you wish to lessen the time period for the refresher, you can have two facilitators as well. Hence the term per man hour.

Dear Rakhi,
To the best of my knowledge, it means the \"Total Consumption of one hour of the professional/his team for carrying out the process\", in this case TNA. How many hours the TNA took, or will take, can be a major factor in deciding the fees.
Disclaimer- There are too many costs, visible, invisible, partially visible costs associated with TNA.
Going by the counter question posed by you, I GUESS it may be difficulty for you to comprehend. If you are very eager, please mail to josri1972 at gmail dot com. I will do my best to help you out.
Happy to note your frankness in posing this counter question to Dheena who had done a good job ( in my perception)in explaining to your query. Wish we had forums like this, when I started my career, years back :-)
All the best

I think Rakhi, you need to know the size of the organisation. It's a kind of diagnostics that need to be conducted, unless you have been specified the area in which the training has to be conducted. This would take you across all domains and therefore would be time taking. Normally such assignments are at least on a consulting pattern of INR 8K per consultant day on an average.
