Struggling with PF Withdrawal: How to Handle a Missing Resignation Acceptance?

I joined a company for 2.5 months and submitted a written resignation to the branch head. There was no bond, and I did not receive any intimation about the resignation from the company for the last 3 years. I need a resignation acceptance letter for PF redemption. However, they are unwilling to provide it. After filing an RTI, they responded that the competent authority cannot accept a resignation letter tendered by an officer in absentia, so they cannot provide the resignation letter.

My Doubts Are as Follows:

1. What should I do for PF withdrawal?
2. Can the company create any problems in the future since I have requested information through RTI? What actions could the company take against me in the future?
3. Can they compel me to rejoin the company in the future?

Kindly guide me.

As you served for only 2.5 months, it is better to merge the old PF amount with your existing PF account. It is better, and you have to raise only Form No. 13 to transfer.

No one can do anything against anybody unless and until the party is very demanding.

That is up to you to join the organization or reject to join the organization.

Thanks for responding, Sir. One more thing I want to know is if the response I received after 4 years through RTI, and if resigning in absentia can harm my future in any way. I am eagerly waiting for your response.
