Proportionate Reuction On Bonus

Respected Sir/Madam,
I have joined on 27/12/2012 as a probationer in a company with a salary @Rs8000.00 per month. The company is offering minimum bonus@8.33% up to a maximum ceiling of Rs3500.00 for the accounting year 2012-13. Please help me to calculate my Bonus .

If you have no LWOP, your December attendance will be 4 out of 31, ie 0,129. For 2012 - 13, the attendance will be 3.129 months out of 12 months, i.e 0.26. Therefore the proportionate Bonus will be 0.26x3500 = 910 or 912 (if we take the fraction as 0.2607527 instead of 0.26).
