I wanted to know when will verification start for a new employee.Does it starts after joining only or it can be made during notice period or immidiately after getting the selection.Generally what is the practice?

Each Employer has its own terms. Generally its done during the Notice period. But few companies also carry out during the training session.
Also after joining in some cases its done. So depends upon the Company's policy and requirement.
