Removing the fake experience - what is the possible solution to obtain a good career with out any problem?

Hi Sir, I completed my degree in 2007. I started my career in 2009. The company I joined closed in 2010; it was a training and development company. When I left that company, they provided me with a 2.11 years experience certificate, including my gaps. However, the issue is I do not have any bank statements or Form 16 from that company, and if someone calls for verification, there is no one available to respond.

In my second company, I worked for 3.7 years, including my experience from the first company (making my current total experience 6.6 years). Now, I am planning to switch from my second company to another. I am considering removing my experience from the first company (including the fake experience) and only showing my experience from the second company. If I do this, I will have 3.7 years of genuine experience, and there will be a 3-year gap. Will this gap create any problems? How can I justify this to the new company, and what are the possible solutions to pursue a successful career without any issues?

I strongly recommend that you do not use fake experience or have an experience gap. You have been working in a company, which is a fact, and facts speak for themselves. So, do not worry about your third employer. They will judge your honesty in any case.

Don't use any sort of fake experience letter at all. If you do, it will affect your career drastically in the future. It is better to mention clearly whatever you did during the gap period to anyone in the future. Currently, you have relevant experience and are in continuous work.

Leave it to the hirer to judge your capabilities, knowledge, and skills that you have gained.

My friends are suggesting that if I mention my real experience of 3.7 years along with a 3-year gap and a 5 lac package, HR will easily detect discrepancies and may not offer the expected salary. Is this true? Should I only mention the 3.7 years in my resume? What should I state for the 3-year gap? Should I disclose all my past experiences, including the fake one? Will this cause any issues with future employers?

As you mentioned, when your first company closed, they provided you with the experience certificate showing your continuous engagement or employment with the company. Compensation/salary would hardly matter, as whatever hike you are going to get at the new company will be decided based on what you are currently receiving.

You can speak to the new company's HR and inform them about the closing condition of your first company as of today. Doing this will definitely help you out.

I have one question. Why do you keep on saying your previous experience is fake? If you are genuine, forget about it and speak the truth when they ask you.

With a total experience of 6.6 years, you can be moved forward. Leave it to the recruiter; not to worry, as you are already employed with a good salary. As mentioned earlier, if the skills/knowledge/exposure you have gained to date are crucial to the new employer, the recruiter will not want to lose you as the perfect candidate to select. Also, if asked by a new recruiter, facts behind providing an experience certificate by a closed company can be shared up to a certain level smartly.

My case is similar to this but slightly different. I worked for X-employer for 2.1 months (I resigned and then joined again, only to resign once more within 3 months), so overall, it was 2.1 months. To show continuity, I submitted fake experience from X-employer to my new job which led to me getting fired due to this issue.

Now, I have been working in a company for almost 1.5 years and have decided to move to a new organization. If I submit my original documents, will my background check (BGC) clear? What feedback can I expect from my previous employer to my new organization?

I have 3.4 years of real and 3.3 years of fake experience, totaling 6.7 years of experience. My question is: should I remove the fake experience or not? However, my starting designation was lead engineer, and my current package is 6.3 lacs in the current company. So, if I remove the fake experience, how will I convince them for the designation and package? Can I modify the designation in the offer letter for the current organization?
